PARTS INSTALLATION Always use genuine Hoover SilentAir replacement parts specifically designed for your Hoover SilentAir Air Purifier.



DCS4000	Hoover Dielectric Collection Sheets for Hoover SilentAir 4000 Air Purifier Turn off your air purifier and disconnect from the electrical outlet. Lay the purifier down on its back on a flat surface. Loosen cover thumb-screws and remove the front cover. It is not necessary to loosen screws completely. Slide and remove used collection sheet and discard. BE CAREFUL not to snag ionization line. Slide a new collection sheet BEHIND the ionization line. Secure the collection sheet by placing it under the four holding tabs. Replace the front cover and tighten screws. Plug air purifier into electrical outlet and reset ionization control to desired setting. The collection sheet light will reset and stop blinking.



DCS2000	Hoover Dielectric Collection Sheets for Hoover SilentAir 2000 Air Purifier Turn off your air purifier and disconnect from the electrical outlet. Lay the purifier down on its back on a flat surface. Grasp top corners of front cover and pull cover off. The cover is held by a magnetic latch. Slide and remove used collection sheet and discard. BE CAREFUL not to snag ionization line. Slide a new collection sheet BEHIND the ionization line. Secure the collection sheet by placing it under the four holding tabs. Replace the front cover by first inserting tabs at the bottom of the front cover into slots and then rotate cover into place. A magnetic latch built into the front cover will hold the cover to the main body of the unit. Plug air purifier into electrical outlet and reset ionization control to desired setting. The collection sheet light will reset and stop blinking. The package of unused collection sheets may be stored on the back of the air purifier. Slide package behind holding tabs.



SAIO4000	Hoover Gold Plated Ionization Line for Hoover SilentAir 4000 Air Purifier REPLACING OLD IONIZATION LINE Remove old ionization line by grasping one end of the ionization line and gently stretch it to release ring from hook assembly. Remove opposite ring from hook on the other side. To install new ionization line, slip the ring at one end back onto hook assembly. Gently extend ionization line enabling hook on opposite side to attach onto the hook assembly. Make sure collection sheet is BEHIND the ionization line and secure by placing it under the four holding tabs. Replace the front cover and tighten screws. Plug air purifier into electrical outlet and reset ionization control to desired setting. Note: Use care when handling the ionization line. The ionization line when not handled delicately may break.



SAIO2000	Hoover Gold Plated Ionization Line for Hoover SilentAir 2000 Air Purifier REPLACING OLD IONIZATION LINE Carefully remove old ionization line by grasping one end of the ionization line and gently stretch it to release ring from hook assembly. Remove opposite ring from hook on the other side. To install new ionization line, slip the ring at one end back onto hook assembly. Gently extend ionization line enabling hook on opposite side to attach onto the hook assembly. Make sure collection sheet is BEHIND the ionization line and secure by placing it under the four holding tabs. Replace the front cover and tighten screws. Plug air purifier into electrical outlet and reset ionization control to desired setting. Note: Use care when handling the ionization line. The ionization line when not handled delicately may break.



SAMP4000	Hoover Aluminum Collection Plates for Hoover SilentAir 4000 Air Purifier REPLACING OLD ALUMINUM COLLECTION PLATES Handle Collection Plates with care. Turn off your air purifier and disconnect from the electrical outlet. Place unit flat on its back cover onto a work surface. Loosen cover thumbscrews and remove the front cover. It is not necessary to loosen thumbscrews completely. Grasp one end of the ionization line and gently stretch it to release ring from hook assembly. Remove opposite ring from hook on the other side. Slide and remove used collection sheet. Remove larger screws (Countersink Head Screws) and smaller screws (Tapping Screws) from collection plates. Be sure to correctly identify the larger and smaller screws during installation. Remove old collection plates from unit. Peel the protective blue film from the new collection plates. Align the small hole on the collection plate with the hole on the left side and then insert and tighten smaller screw to secure collection plates. DO NOT tighten too tight as the small screw is fastened to a slider which will assist the collection plate from contracting and expanding during altering environments. Align the larger hole on the collection plate with the hole on the right side and then insert and tighten larger screw to secure collection plates. Insert new collection sheet securing it by placing it behind the four holding tabs. To replace ionization line, slip the ring at one end back onto hook assembly. Gently extend ionization line enabling hook on opposite side to attach onto the hook assembly. Replace the front cover and tighten thumbscrews. Plug air purifier into electrical outlet and reset ionization control to desired setting.



SAMP2000	Hoover Aluminum Collection Plates for Hoover SilentAir 2000 Air Purifier REPLACING OLD ALUMINUM COLLECTION PLATES Handle Collection Plates with care. Turn off your air purifier and disconnect from the electrical outlet. Place unit on its back cover onto a work surface. Grasp top corners of front cover and pull cover off. Grasp one end of the ionization line and gently stretch it to release ring from hook assembly. Remove opposite ring from hook on the other side. Slide and remove used collection sheet.
